Exxon Valdez tanker

12:04 am 24th march 1989 the Exxon Valdez struck the Bligh Reef in Prince William Sound, Alaska.  The spill was arguably the most infamous in marine history.  The following clean up  and legal battle (which was still on going in 2008) has taught us much.

Yet oil spills still occur, we still ship oil from one corner of the globe to the other.

For one hour out of you year, don’t rely on oil.

Switch off your lights.

Unplug the laptop.

Just be.

Go out side.

Listen to the birds.

Feel the breeze on your skin.

Watch the clouds in the sky.

See the world as the marvelous place that it is.

We all have a vote, and every single vote counts. Together we can take control of the future of our planet, for future generations.

VOTE ERTH by simply switching off yor lights for one hour, and join the world for Earth Hour.
